Thomas is an undergrad, currently choosing his (undergrad) research problem in quantum information (complexity of Potts model? simulating TQFT’s? we’ll see…). His incredible insights as a physicist, as well as astonishing good looks, have led numerous mass media to write flattering in-depth exclusives on his personality, including Scientific American, the prestigious British journal Nature, and G.Q. (the editors of which depict him as “World’s Sexiest Physicist” in a feature article under that title).
Thomas lives alone with his stack of textbooks and misses his dog Quark (Jack Russell), whom he only sees during school breaks.
